Movie Poster Project
This design follows the prompt to make a poster for a movie watched in a cinema class. I was assigned to Avengers: Endgame, and thus the direction for my poster. I wanted to make a poster that was cleaner and overall less noisy compared to other superhero movie posters, particularly that of Endgame, which end up just being a collection of crowded character mugshots. I'm a sucker for minimalistic artstyles, so I decided to do that. For the background i went with a purple, spacey design that falls in line with the official Endgame posters. The gauntlet is the centerpiece, but is made black for the an ominous feel (since Thanos won at the end of Infinity War) and to draw more attention to the stones in the gauntlet and the text. Speaking of, the actual gauntlet color goes to the text, which is of course in a very Avengers-esque font. Wrapping up the design is the studio and directors at the bottom, as actor names are not needed in such a simplistic design.
